Interchalet becomes Interhome – uniform brand communication in all countries
With immediate effect, Interhome Group will only operate under the Interhome brand in Germany and its other 25 markets. As part of the standardisation of brand communications, the Interhome brand will gradually replace the Interchalet brand on all channels over the coming months. This means that holidaymakers worldwide will experience a uniform brand experience at all touchpoints.
Since the takeover of the German holiday home provider Inter Chalet in 2013, the Swiss company Interhome Group has issued its communications in Germany under the well-known German brand Interchalet. From now on, the holiday home provider will only operate under the name Interhome in all markets. As part of the changeover, the company will no longer operate as the Interhome Group, but as Interhome. The changeover on all channels will take place successively by the end of the year. Interhome’s uniform appearance not only pools resources and increases efficiency, but above all offers holiday guests a uniform brand experience throughout Europe. This covers the entire customer journey: from the website and the booking process to travel agencies, sales partners, vacation accommodation, local service offices and all advertising campaigns.
“By creating a consistent brand experience at all points of contact, we communicate more clearly with our customers and give them the confidence that they can always expect the same high quality and excellent service wherever they encounter us,” says Sylvia Epaillard, Co-CEO of Interhome, explaining the strategic decision. “The seamless brand experience helps to further strengthen Interhome’s reputation as an experienced provider of individual holiday accommodation.”
