More holiday accommodation in Sardinia – Interhome expands its portfolio on the Mediterranean island
Interhome has enlarged its portfolio of holiday homes and apartments in Sardinia by over 27% in 2024. With an additional 126 holiday homes, it has taken the total number of places to stay on the popular Mediterranean island to around 600. Interhome also offers a comprehensive, hassle-free package for property owners and guests in Sardinia with three local service offices.

This was a key factor in the holiday home specialist’s decision to meet growing demand for the fashionable destination by expanding its range of holiday homes and apartments – the significant increase means it is now offering 126 new places to stay.
Top-quality accommodation in a highly attractive location: 126 new holiday homes
When expanding its portfolio, Interhome focused heavily on attractive locations and high-quality apartments. For example, 60 of the new places to stay in Sardinia are located in the beautiful and popular "Golfo di Marinella" in the north-east of the island. Staff at the newly opened office in the bay provide cleaning and maintenance services as well as personal support for Interhome guests. A further 33 holiday homes are located in the north and 33 in the south of the ‘Caribbean of the Mediterranean’, as Sardinia is affectionately known. The majority are two-bedroom units of superior to high standard.
New office provides outstanding services locally
With the new office in "Golfo di Marinella" and the existing service locations in Olbia and Villasimius, there are now three points of contact on the island. The local service offices provide benefits for both holiday guests as well as property owners. Many property owners on the second-largest island in the Mediterranean do not live locally themselves. Upon request, the local office teams support them by managing holiday accommodation and guest check-in all year round.
Sardinia’s delightful climate means a longer holiday and rental season
The excellent weather conditions are a major benefit for both guests and holiday home owners in Sardinia. Enjoying a temperate maritime climate, the island’s beach season starts early in the year and lasts into late summer and autumn.
