Pablo Castillo to leave Hotelplan Group
Hotelplan Group CIO Pablo Castillo is leaving the Swiss tour operator at his own request at the end of September 2021. The search for his successor has commenced.
Pablo Castillo, CIO of Hotelplan Group, has decided to take a career break and will leave the company at the end of September 2021. Together with his family, he will be fulfilling a long-held wish to travel the world for a year.
Pablo Castillo has worked at Hotelplan Group for almost 10 years. He joined the company as a Senior Project Manager, then worked as Director of Projects & Business Consulting before going on to assume overall responsibility for the group's IT operations and join the group management team in 2014. "Pablo Castillo has been instrumental in advancing our group's IT organisation in the past six years, driving forward a wide range of projects, such as digital transformation. Thanks to him and his team, IT operations throughout Hotelplan Group are on a sound and future-oriented footing. The Board of Directors and the group management very much regret that he is leaving our company. We wish him all the best for his upcoming world trip and every success in his future professional endeavours," says Hotelplan Group CEO Laura Meyer. The search for a successor to the post of Chief Information Officer is underway.
