Responsible Business – responsible action throughout the company
We strive to act in a sustainable manner at every level of our Group, and we take responsibility for what we do. Diversity, equity and inclusion are fundamental elements of our people strategy. We actively involve our employees in putting our sustainability strategy into practice.
Employees – professional development and well-being
Motivated, committed and passionate employees form the foundation of Hotelplan Group. We support our colleagues, amongst other things through training programs, and have set binding targets for diversity, equity and inclusion.
Offices – responsible operation of corporate locations
The Green Office initiative aims to use 100% green electricity at all of Hotelplan Group’s almost 200 offices and corporate locations throughout Europe. In the 2023 financial year, the figure was already at 75%. A photovoltaic system has been installed at the Aschaffenburg site. We raise staff awareness about issues like saving water and paper and separating waste. Hotelplan Group employees are also becoming active themselves. In 2023, our sustainability officers and volunteers trained over 1,000 colleagues on sustainability issues.

Inghams works with the Snow Camp charity, which uses winter sports to transform the lives of young adults from inner cities and open up a positive path for their future. Accompanied by Olympic snowboarder Jamie Nicholls, Inghams took nine Snow Camp trainees to the Alps in the spring of 2023, where they learned about career opportunities in winter sports. Two trainees were subsequently awarded an internship, working at Inghams in the autumn before becoming chalet hosts. The partnership will continue in 2024.
