Anja Keckeisen to join Hotelplan Group Board of Directors
Anja Keckeisen is appointed to the Board of Directors of the Migros Group-owned subsidiary Hotelplan Group. She will take up her seat on 1 March 2023 and replace Thomas Stirnimann, who is stepping down from the Board of Directors at the end of March.
Anja Keckeisen (55) is joining the Hotelplan Group Board of Directors on 1 March 2023. After establishing Expedia Germany and spending a number of years at Thomas Cook, the qualified travel agent with a graduate degree in business and cultural studies was CEO of the travel booking and hotel review platform HolidayCheck from 2015 to 2017. She was subsequently responsible for operational management in Germany and purchasing for Central Europe at the holiday home provider Novasol. Anja Keckeisen currently holds the post of Interim Manager Managing Director Global Mobility Services at ICUnet.
"With her long-standing experience in the tourism industry, entrepreneurial skills and expertise in the areas of digitalisation and e-commerce, Anja Keckeisen will be an ideal addition to the Board of Directors," says Fabrice Zumbrunnen, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Hotelplan Group.
Thomas Stirnimann, former CEO of Hotelplan Group and a member of the travel concern's Board of Directors since January 2021, will step down at the end of March 2023.
