As of 1 July 2022, Friederike Grupp will be responsible for sustainability activities at Hotelplan Group. With the newly created position, the travel group aims to drive its commitment to sustainability even further.

Friederike Grupp will take over the newly created position Head of Sustainability at Hotelplan Group as of 1 July 2022. In her role, she is responsible for all sustainability activities of Hotelplan Group and reports directly to Adrian Arnold, Chief Digital & Strategy Officer Hotelplan Group. "We are very pleased to have Friederike Grupp, a proven sustainability expert, on board. Sustainability is a cornerstone in our group strategy and we are convinced that Friederike Grupp will make an important contribution to the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy with her previous experience," says Adrian Arnold.

31-year-old Friederike Grupp has several years of experience in the field of sustainability, including as sustainability manager at Thomas Cook and as a board member of the sustainability initiative Futouris e.V.. She also holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development Cooperation from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (D). Most recently, Friederike Grupp worked as sustainability manager for Basler Versicherung in Bad Homburg (D).
