It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that Tim Bachmann, COO Volume Tour Operating, passed away on December 19, 2022 after a short, serious illness. Tim Bachmann leaves behind a daughter and his life partner.

We mourn the death of Tim Bachmann (06.07.1969 – 19.12.2022). After a short, serious illness, he left us far too early on December 19, 2022. We are in shock and incredibly sad. Tim Bachmann will leave a big gap.

Tim Bachmann was diagnosed with cancer in September 2022. Since then he has been receiving treatment. His condition has deteriorated rapidly within a very short space of time since last weekend. His sudden death before Christmas hits us all deeply and unexpectedly.

We say goodbye to a lovable employee who has been with us for many years, a pragmatic and goal-oriented colleague and, last but not least, a good friend. Tim Bachmann was always full of energy and valued throughout the group for his dedicated and caring nature. We keep Tim Bachmann in the best memory and in our hearts.

Our thoughts are with all those who knew and loved him well. He leaves behind a daughter and his life partner. We express our deepest condolences to his family in particular and wish them a lot of strength and confidence in these difficult hours.

The burial takes place in a narrow circle.
